Ambiente, the world’s largest consumer goods fair, will focus on professional exchange in four domains: dining, living, giving, and working. The Future of Work area will showcase items and solutions for modern workspaces, with the future of work as a meta-theme in 2024. Exhibitors and trade visitors will be attracted to the adaptable and lively workplace environment.
Hotspot Work Areas (New workspace ideas for 2024):
Ambiente Working showcases acoustics, furniture, lighting, stationery, and office supplies. The Future of Work section focuses on environmentally friendly workplace layouts. Berlin-based MTTR proposes four wooden dome structures for Hall 3.1, including “Socialise,” “Collaborate,” “Concentrate,” and “Educate,” with spaces for gathering, positive communication, and an Academy program stage.

Function lines are getting fuzzier, and opportunities for collaboration are opening up in the ambiguous spaces between interior design, hospitality, and the future of work.
With its Special Interests HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering) and Contract Business sections, Ambiente targets the contract sector by showcasing exhibitors that have a unique focus on contract business and the hospitality sector. It is, therefore, possible for office furnishers, interior designers, project developers, facility managers, wholesalers, and retailers to quickly identify manufacturers that provide services like excellent quality in big order numbers, individualization of series items, and customization.
“The Lounge” as a metaphor workspace for ordinary life
New workspace ideas for 2024 a trade show that unites global manufacturers, small craft industries, design firms, and large brands under one roof, is introducing two new platforms for design and emerging talent. “Designer Day” is on Saturday. I’ve picked a topic that, rather than taking a formalistic approach, gives an inventive viewpoint by taking a positive look at modern design and emphasizing the quest for pleasure, adds Salmistraro. Her vibrant, funny, visual, and lyrical designs have swiftly made her a well-known, yet still relatively young, personality on the global design scene.
Ambiente’s “Talents” area showcases young designers addressing contemporary issues with creative solutions, eco-friendly ideas, and forward-thinking products. Salmistraro, a Milan-based fashion and product designer, uses drawings to create installations and items. Ambiente emphasizes current design trends and aims to demonstrate their significance in the design world. The Talents promotional program allows aspiring designers to showcase their creative and eco-friendly ideas to media, exhibitors, and guests, fostering a network for industry designers.
